Assuring Your Safety in Therapy

Alan is committed to providing the highest standard of professional support and was one of the first Hypnotherapists in the country to achieve a new national standard of excellence for his therapy awarded by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the UK regulator for complementary healthcare. This recognition places him at the forefront of a national drive to provide a benchmark for standards and safety for the public. Practitioners registered with the CNHC meet national occupational standards and abide by a rigorous code of conduct, performance and ethics and allows GPs, hospitals, private healthcare providers and insurance companies to refer patients to hypnotherapy practitioners or to make hypnotherapy more readily available in health centres, clinics, doctors’ surgeries and hospitals.

He is also a member of Britain’s leading professional bodies promoting Hypnotherapy as a registered practitioner member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) and on the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). In addition to being bound by the ethical codes and regulations of these institutions, Alan also subscribes to regular professional clinical supervision and continuing professional development in order to ensure that his clients receive the highest standard of professional support.
